Welcome to my new and revived blog. This must be at least my 50th blog attempt, so let’s celebrate! But first, why so many blog and why a new one?
So many because writing and sharing is a great form of creativity. Most successful people write in some form. I like to share my ideas. Plus creativity is just like a muscle, if you don’t exercise it, it will atrophy. And writing is probably the gray matter counterpart to running for the body, it’s easy, everybody can do it but at the same time provide tremendous benefits and almost no one does it.
Why a new one?
Because I’m into photography. It’s my new thing. I love it and want to share it. That simple.
So I’ll be sharing some pictures and photoshoots on this blog.
I started photography for real last Fall. I joined a photo club called the Moncton Focus Camera Club in September and a good friend lent me a camera so that I could participate in the club’s activities. At the top is a picture from my very first solo photo outing with that camera. I wanted to shoot manual only. I struggled but still took a few ok pictures. Including the one at the top of this post.
Since then it’s been a constant evolution. Six months later I bought my first camera, a Fuji XT-2. To kickstart my new camera ownership I started a photo challenge which I’ll talk about in a later post.
It’s already brought me to experience cool things, as shooting pro basketball games to capturing the complete array of kids emotions.
I’m looking forward to sharing all my future adventures with you!
