Your narrative is up to youPosted May 4, 2017 by Mathieu Chiasson
The story other people tell about you is none of your business. It's never going to be a true story because no one knows you like you do. But...
It's your responsibility to guide that narrative towards the story you want others to remember.
Become aware of the actions you take consistently and how people perceive the way you interact with them. Are you always on time? Do you always respond quickly? Do you always pay attention to details? Or are you careless, unreliable and inconsistent?
The key is to be consistent in your action.
What are the key things do you want others to say about you?
The first step is to know how you want to be perceived and then you need to adapt your actions accordingly.
The collateral benefit of doing this is that the clearer your actions are the better you will feel about yourself. The more consistent you are in your actions the less stressed you'll become because you'll develop a clarity in your daily actions.
