There Are No New Truths

There are no new truths.

Everything I write on my blog is old. All humans have faced the same dilemmas over the past thousands of years. We all live under the same old principles. But knowing about these truths is not enough.

Good vs Evil

We’re all tempted to do things which don’t bring us any good.

We’re all tempted to sit down and watch TV. Open the computer to look at Facebook. To eat a chocolate bar instead of the apple.

It’s the war of good against evil.

We all face it every day.

The kick in the butt

Now sometimes we fall for the evil. We give in.

We stop exercising. We stop eating well. We spend too much time in front of the TV.

We all need the occasional kick in the butt to get us moving.

Some people get kicked and then stop moving even faster than before.

They think dismissively “I’ve heard that before.” or impatiently “I already know that”.

Don’t let that be you. When you read the quote, let it affect you. When someone tells you that you’re being lazy, listen.

The good news is that Evil is no match for Good

This is a good news. Evil is no match. Good is like a light, when it’s on darkness has no chance. But as soon as it’s gone darkness takes over.

All that’s good is easy. You only have to take action and evil has no chance.

But remember that what’s easy to do is also easy not to do.

Knowing isn’t enough take action

Finally, when you get an advice. Take action and apply it to your life.

Knowing is not the same as doing.

We too often shrug off ideas because we already know them.

Truth is old, nothing’s new.

But don’t make the fatal mistake of knowing everything and doing nothing.
